A Few Words

I am a professional Interaction Designer living in the suburbs of Chicago with over ten years of software, interaction, and event design experience ranging from freelance to enterprise level. I see everything through the lens of UX and strive to answer not just what is best and how to implement it, but also why. I believe that the best IxDs are born, not made. That is, either you have the eye for it or you don't. This is both my curse and blessing and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I graduated from Purdue University in May of 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Graphics Technology. Before transferring to Purdue in the fall of 2004, I attended Ball State University where I simultaneously pursued degrees in Visual Communications and Computer Science. In 2001, I graduated from the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities where I received the Indiana Academic Honors Diploma. Before choosing the Indiana Academy, I attended Centerville Senior High School for two years.

I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and moved to Centerville, Indiana before I was old enough to remember. Centerville is where I grew up and attended primary and secondary school until I pursued a higher academic calling at the Indiana Academy in 1999.
